Learn how to make a payment for your extension to keep your project on track.

Once your loan has been approved for an extension and you've signed the required documents you'll need to make the agreed payment to finalize the extension process. The following article shows you how to do this easily from your Borrower Dashboard.

After you've logged in to your Dashboard you'll see the below screen. Find the loan that you need to make your extension payment on and click the "Make a Payment" button. You can click this "Make a Payment" button from the "Active" tab or from the "Upcoming Maturity" tab. Before you click, make a note of the last 4 of the TIN that is associated with the loan. You'll need this on the next screen.

After you've clicked the "Make a Payment" button you'll be taken to a login screen for FCI, the loan servicer. Your servicer ID will pull in automatically which you'll see on this screen. Take those 4 TIN digits you remembered from the previous step (or you can go back to your Dashboard to get these) and enter them in the box. Click verify.

After you've logged in you'll see the below screen. Please note the "Validation Payment" notification at the top of this page. Making your interest payments get a bit more complicated if your loan is past maturity, which is why its important we get this taken care of timely. You'll see some other relevant information about your loan here. Scroll down from here...

...and you'll see some additional fields to complete to make your payment. Make sure the "Additional Payment" box is checked. At the bottom of this screen your see a "Pay Charges" section. Expand this by clicking on the arrow. Within that section you'll see "Pending Charges to Pay". Click the boxes to select making these payments and click "Next".

From there you'll be taken to a page to enter your payment information and e-sign your authorization to debit your account for the agreed amount.

After you make your payment we'll get your maturity date updated and you can get back to finishing out the project!
