Application Overview

You have submitted an application-what's Next?

We’ve recently made some updates to improve the overall experience—from submission to closing. This guide will walk you through what happens next and show you how to navigate your application with ease. From reviewing your details to uploading documents, everything you need is right at your fingertips to help you move forward quickly and confidently.

Getting Started

To access a submitted loan application:

  1. Go to the Applications tab located within the Projects grid on the All Projects page of your Dashboard.

  2. Select the View Application button, or simply click anywhere on the application row to open it.

When you open an application, you'll land on the Overview tab—your application's "homepage." Here, you'll find a summary of your application status, next steps, and what to expect as you move forward.

Application Details

If you submitted your application through Katniss, Upright’s always-on AI assistant, you’ll see your previous conversation at the top of the Application tab. Just below that, you’ll find the information you provided during your submission.

Documents

The Documents tab shows a list of the files required to process your loan. Uploading these documents early can help speed things up.

  1. Each document type has its own row.

  2. To upload a file, click Select File in the corresponding row and choose the file from your device.

  3. If you have multiple files to upload under the same category, you’ll need to upload them one at a time.

  4. To remove a file, click the Trash icon next to it. This will delete the document from that row.

Tip: If you don’t have all the necessary documents right away, no worries! You can come back and upload them later. Our underwriting team will review your application and may reach out if additional documents are needed.
